What OEM Colors were offered for AMG Monos?
I bought a set of 17" AMG Aero II Wheels from a C36 and am in search of the correct color so I can buy new center caps. I'm not positive but I believe the color is Brilliant Silver? Heres a picture to help aid me in the right direction:
Thanks guys

You may have picked up the colors you quoted from the same vendor, but read the listings and the vendor states that they are independently painted...not factory OEM.
Also are the rims you purchased the staggered 17 x 7.5 ET37 front and 17 x 8.5 ET35 rear ?
You may possibly find that you have a rubbing problem in the rear
This is the stock center cap on my 1999 C43, which is what the earlier C36 used.

For reference, this is the only OEM wheel cap available , but you can see that they only come in plain old vanilla just "silver" plastic.

You caught me RBYCC! Same exact vendor Anyhow now I can confidently pick up some center caps, so thank you for your expertise The wheel specs are as follows: 8.5J by 17H offset 30 for the front 8.5J by 17H offset 35 for the rear so I think I should be okay if I get rubber in the realm of 17/40/225 if not, it'll be time to roll some fenders!

Just a couple shots of my 8.5s since you like the *** end so much:
The first one is dark, but its a clearer image, and the second one is a little brighter, but also blurrier.

Thanks guys. :-D
It used to be straight piped with an AP Racing freeflow "muffler" as a temporary fix on the old rusted exhaust. Ive since added a flowmaster universal cat and 24" resonator to tone down the noise. It's still a bit loud for me, but she can be relatively timid with a light foot. Under heavy acceleration theres a mid to low rumble, just louder than I would like. No fart can sounds thank God.

I'm dealing with the same issue. I have the OEM cat (non-calif) to a magnaflow straight through, it was wayyy to loud. I since changed the magnaflow to a chambered 44 series flowmaster, the end result was louder than the magnaflow I picked up an OEM center muffler and plan to use this in conjunction with the flowmaster and cat, I hope it'll tone it down considerably if not I'm going back to OEM with some fancy tips....its become to much frustration at this point

Have you tried putting on a resonator or glass pack?
I had the welding shop do a before and after decible reading and it dropped be down around 15dB. That was with the 24" flowmaster resonator/glasspack.
Installed was about $60, and it only took 20 minutes. I want to eventually replace the so called "muffler" with something a little more high-end. Possibly tuned for an I-6, but its not a priority at this point.
