94 e320 radio and idle intermittent

1994 e320
94 e320 radio and idle intermittent

I drove the car today seems fine after like 5 miles radio went dead idling went up and down car started lurching forward, parked it turn off a/c idling still intermittent, turn the engine off started it back seems ok, but still no radio, went home, truned on a/c idling still goes up and down any suggestions , ijust replaced plugs and connector, noticed some fluid dripping on the passenger side behind the front tire smelled like battery fluid, any suggestions , just moved to burbank,ca, any independent mercedes mechanic that can be trusted?, need all the suggestions and help, thanks!

Check your battery voltage.....low voltage from the battery will give similar symptoms.

A bad voltage regulator could cause the battery to overcharge and boil over. Check voltage at idle. Should be around 13-14 volts DC.

solved

brought it to mr. mb motors in reseda, checked the battery , you are right battery overcharging, 16 plus, changed the alternator with a rebuilt one, everything back to normal, thanks, I would never give up on a 124!
