Lowering my e220
Lowering my e220
Earlier i read here at forum that HR springs are way to go.
In Australia there is no HR dealer but i can get Eibatch springs new $600aus.
Now i Eibatch springs will not give me drop that i want i want lower, so my questions would it work if i chop them off to lower my car further.
Also i think they can heat it up and compress but not sure if heating it up would change spring stiffness?
Thanks.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Eibach with bilstein
sport shocks and 1/2 coil(not the whole coil cut in half, just one half of a coil
) cut off with a cold cut saw not a torch.Use plenty of cooling oil on the saw.

you will need to get the car aligned afterward.

you don't want to torch cut and you don't want to heat and compress, ruins spring temper and the car will have a different spring rate on all corners and be different heights on all corners.Eibach makes some performance springs for a bigger drop up to 4.5cm I think.
