You can do that yourself and get the parts at a dealership for half that price ...

yes and they aren't "AMG" pedals they are simply "sport" pedals I don't see why people need to hype them up as they are just gas and brake pedals.

All you need to do is get them from the dealership depending on your car and make it fit. It's easy and saves you the extra $30-50 dollars. I have the part numbers as well and so does Rik aka 2Phast.

The SLK pedals require a little bit of work, I have seen HWA part numbers for a kit that includes a accelerator pedal that is more of a bolt on then the SLK pedal that most people use. Funny thing though, I tried to look up the AMG part numbers in the EPC and there are no HWA part numbers for these pedals. These pedals are on many models, AMG models included.

Part numbers are;

170-300-00-04
170-290-01-82
203-430-00-84

Bought a set three weeks ago and installed on a 300e, out the door cost was right around $45. There are of course several different sku's, I use the SLK parts and these require a little bit of work to fit the W124.

Maybe you bought pedals from a different model, could explain the cost difference, I have not priced them all, but I can assure you, there are no HWA part numbers for these pedals, I actually looked up every AMG model in the EPC and cross referenced the part numbers. What is used on the AMG models are the same pedal covers used on the non-AMG models.

We had this AMG pedal discussion on another forum, hence all the extra work that I put into research
