Heated Seats
Mine are broken. I have no manuals at all so I started by checking fuses. I think the heated seat fuses are the two blue ones next to the main fuse area. They are good. The switch lights work but there is no power to the four prong plug under the seats. With the switches on I guess there should be. I looked at the control unit under the back seat as Kestas recomended. The four relays click but maybe the contacts are bad. Tried a cleaner but no good. I will try to replace a couple relays if I can find them. Am I going in the correct direction with this or should I be looking at something else? Thanks

When I opened my unit the relays clicked, but the contacts were burned, hence no power to the heating elements. This means your control unit is probably repairable. Cleaner will only work on dust and varnish, not on heavy oxide films.
BTW, I've been providing copies of W124 CD service manuals for members who ask for them. I do ask $10 for my trouble though.

Kestas: I tried to send you a PM. I would like the manual and also where you purchased relays. A internet search for the relays shows no availability.
Thank You

I got your PM. Try going to an electronics supply house and see what they have available. That's what I did. I found something close enough. With a little modification, I was able to solder the new relays onto the circuit board. Five years later and the relays still work and I can still warm my buns.
There are four relays in the control unit. On mine only two were horribly fried and ultimately replaced. The other two were salvagable by cleaning the contacts.

Just posting this incase someone does a search for the same problem.
It turns out there is a connection to the seat heater control under the left front kick panel. Mine had come loose. All I had to do was plug it back in and the seat heaters work fine.

Here is the control box area under the rear seat and the connection at the kick panel area as well.
