Too low!

Was down the street at a friend's place and took a few pics. I put the Vogtlands back on in the front with #4 pads. Car is LOW... too low! (yes, I know, it's also filthy!)

Now I was taking a turn into his subdivision, and there was a small (very small) bump... the car is already rubbing like crazy, but i guess the tire hit the edge of the rolled fender and bent it slightly. So now it rubs even more! Not sure if you can tell from this pic:

I love how the car looks, but it's going back to the cut OEM springs ASAP!

it definitely looks sweet. but what good is a sweet-looking car if you can't drive it?

the tires are still quite new, 225/40/18. I 'm going to put her back up until the tires need to be replaced, then bring it down again later with some 215's, maybe. I just got back from dinner with my girl and she had to get out of the car so I could make the tight turn into a parking spot, it rubs CRAZY with someone else in the car! She wasn't happy since it was drizzling...! There is no paint on the inside of the rolled fender, i can feel it flaking off. *****.
I wish zorro was here to take some nice pics before I lose the stance
The headlights were born in my kitchen and are the love child of ebay smoked lights and TSX projectors...

Off topic, but I'm selling my home made 'W124' trunk emblem, and some rear map lights from an old S class I had planned to retrofit, but that arrived from ebay too late, after I had already put my car back together. I guess I will make a thread for those.

I'm sure you have heard it plenty of times, but I really don't recommend you ride on cut springs...

Damn Zed, your car looks SICK with those springs!
But honestly, your car looked sick before with the chopped OEMs...

And since you said you're rubbing...a lot. I'd just go back with the originals unless you plan on getting smaller tires..

Zed, car looks good with that stance - sucks for the time being you won't be able to make it work and keep it that low.

Berti, Keep in mind your front bumper is lower.

Zed, I went through the same thing cause the drop was just too low!!! So what I did to make things better was go back to stock springs with no spring pads at all. The funny thing about that was that I still get scraping but its more of "I know when it's gonna happen" type of thing, but I do like that look man!
