We may have seen the last of Scott. I'm trying to get ahold of a couple of people who might know.

GVZ hasn't been seen since he moved to Houston. I think there must be someone on MBCA who knows something...

 

Interesting....is there more of a story behind this, or just random loss of funds/etc? Either way it's too bad....that was an incredible resource

Scott is fine. He fixed the database errors but is having a problem with the hardware. Be patient.

"Ex" is a w124 500E-only, site, www.500ecstasy.com - excellent!

It went down for 9 months and 500espot was born.

That has become our second home, for those in the global 500E community.

"Ecstasy" returned, but 3 weeks ago it crashed again.

Join Espot, in the meantime, those guys will welcome the 400E/E420, the sometimes troublesome, but still loveable, "little brother" to the 500.

 

FYI, the owner of 500Ecstasy (Scott Shell) has been working on the current problem (Nov-2010)... it seems there is a hardware glitch which is shutting down the server, and he hasn't been able to pinpoint the root cause. The forum data is all still there but he needs to get the hardware fixed. There's no ETA that I know of.

In the meantime, the 124.036 crowd is hanging out at 500Espot - here's a link:

I corresponded with Scott about a week ago...he IS working on getting it back up...pateince !

 

500Ecstasy is pretty much down for the count these days.
