man my threads have been awesome , i bring so much hatred to these forums without even saying a word haha, damn dirty jersey (jk)
Now that I look at the hood more, I really have no idea the process they went through to achieve that unless it was nearly completely custom.

I like it at that angle, those flares, lowered, etc. It may not look as good from other angles though.
Not a direct swap like later hoods unless someone makes a kit for it. Almost anything can be done with skilled fabrication. Here's another interesting hood adaptation, I forget where I found it:

I thought you guys would have seen everything W124 by now, lol.
As a trained designer I like the craftsmanship and effort of the concept but not every detail in that it drifts too far from the original design. Despite my problems of locating my files in Vista, I found more pics. The website is inactive, I found no other info on the car...

lots of cars
I have the same lorinser side skirts from a w210 but they just don't go with the car. The rear smooth bumper does not really match the sharp lines of a w124 and the front sl hood. I do like the s600 coupe tail lights. That granite center console paint does not look good because i've tried it. I think rear bumpers and side skirts always have to match. If that car didn't have that lorinser theme it could have been a very nice car. I also hate antera wheels, they are the ugliest wheels ever made.

Those mirror turn signals or whatever, just look stupid on any 124 imo.
I have to say though the russians were on top of their game on the front look of the car also think it turned out alright.

95 e320...sold the rest
I think from the front she looks pretty aggressive, minus the baseball sized fogs. Those mirror covers look cheezy, along with the wheels and horrible choice on refinishing the wood that way.
Otherwise, I like the interior, and maybe the body?

I like the padless bumpers (Ferrari BBish following the belt line), the holes in the grille (maybe I'll get my drill out, lol), and the tail lights. The side mirrors would look better in body color and if the right side weren't drooping.
I agree the big headlights are a nice distinctive feature of the W124.
Here's the original proposal in clay with padless bumpers, circa early 80's...

I had bumpers without pads like those on a 230e but it was because i shave them that with a plastic welder and flexible bondo. I liked how it looked on the front but the rear doesn't really look that good. I may do it again but it was a lot of work.

that Russian Merc is stinking.... The centre consol is douche and the colour and wheels are just nasty, but the white one in someone's sig, is lovely. real nice stance....

No, I just like to make generalized statements like those. Sorry that I'm entitled to my own opinion as well as expressing it.
While we are on the subject of stereotypes, I think Scion TC owners should have their tires slashed and have their driver license taken away.
Ok, end of rant..

See how much fun it is to stereotype?
I have an exact story for your Scion TC stereotype.
(from another forum, thread I made last summer)
Ok, so tonight, I'm heading back from work late because I was working on the 280, had it on the lift and all.
Traveling at 65 MPH on the NJ Turnpike, in the far right lane, in a 55 zone.
If you know anything about the turnpike, noone ever follows the limit.
So people are passing, and slowly passing and this person in the middle lane is staying steady to my left 3/4.
All of a sudden I see these Scion tC lights come up behind me...right up my ***.
I can't speed up because if I go over 70, that raises the oil pressure in the engine, which is not good because I have to rebuild my vacuum pump, that runs off the camshaft so if I go over 70, the engine oil pressure gets too high, and oil leaks/sprays everywhere.
So the tC has the nerve to flash me...uh, that's why I'm in the far right lane so that people can pass me....I'm abiding the law of staying right unless passing others.
he finally finds a gap, and passses me in the middle lane, then cuts me off...and it's a tC full of asshat teens around my age.
Well, I decided to high beam him...And just another side detail, the previous owner put in some real nice H4 high beams that are as bright as ****. You can just glance at them and have spots for almost a day.
The second I high beam him, i see him swerve slightly crossing over lanes. .
He corrects and he's only about 2-3 car lengths ahead, and I see one of his friends glance back, like WTF, but then whip his head back real quick cuz of my highs.
and I just lol all the way home.
What tools.
I guess you can sort of flame me for semi-road-rage...but I thought they deserved it.
Cliffs: Commuting home in 280S, 65 in far right lane, asshat teens in tC up my *** and flash, they pass and I blind them with my kick *** highbeams.

The OP's pic may be a Shultz Tuning W201 which would explain the shortened width of the headlights.

Sound interesting, did you weld in plastic pieces to make the recess flush? What sheet plastic did you use and which filler? Got clear pics?
