56K e320
Car seems perfect except 2 items seller noted - AC and slow sunroof. Just like the 53K Cab, car REALLY rolls out nice, totally feels new.
Nothing special but the mileage/condition/price. Becky already has adopted it, I'll have to run the standard head unit / gps upgrade at it soon.
No pics yet, but it's grandma stock, w brand new Potenzas, brakes f+r, service etc.
The 4matic Estate Wagon is too slow from dead stop for a daily driver. The 95 sedan has sufficient power.
Now at 109K, the wagon goes back into utility duty. I want that 4 matic to give me a few more winters.
Anyway, we all keep noting current prices, this was quite a bit of car for the money.
i looked at a ~70K mile silver one about 2 months ago. Sunroof, RR window didnt work. Dinged and dented everywhere. Previous accident, albeit repaired. Grandma couldn't drive!!!!!!!
I had to pass but I was tempted.
it was a friends car, same color as you described green/beige
interior was nice but exterior color just couldn't do it
congrats and enjoy
Green would not do it for me either, (we've all noted that 'green' hurts price during sales) but this thing looks showroom and Becky does not read the boards.
These boards have taught me to shop for color and classic version 124s - I made an exception to give Becky this car as a daily driver. I traveled 2.25 hours (Long Island from NJ) to see a white 95 e320 with 58K miles but seller's description was way off on condition.
Had noticed the green one on Craigslist, it was near my route but asking $6200. Figured what could it hurt to look to take a look while I am 2+ hours from home w cash in hand.
The wife cried hard as we signed papers, she was used to seeing granny visit in this 'ol thing. Real nice sellers, very upfront.
Becky recently dumped her 04 honda Pilot - In reality, I'd have to buy her a new Pilot or something similar $ if I could not gain her cooperation in my 124 madness. This was a cheap out for me.
