that 124 is not riced out, neither is that 123 that he posted.
maybe it's my opinion, but the sound of spooling and BOV's are just bone chilling, especially on the right car.

F@ck that the 2jz is one of the best turbo motors ever made. You can also dump 2 turbos on a 5.0 and make a 9sec car. The 2jz is compatible with our engine bay but the conversion cost about 6-8 grand depending on the turbo and what you do with your chassis.

NOOO Im not saying there is anything wrong with having a 2JZ. I actually contemplated doing the swap myself, but shied away at the sight of the price tag.
For alot of people, Japanese=Rice. I think any car that is well-put-together and tasteful, regardless or origin, should be immune to stereo types like that.
Except donks. Fuch those cars. haha.

2jz=m104 in more aspects that you would think off!
the thing about the tunable 1jz's and 2jz, and the nissan's det line, is that the japs wanted them to be turboed in the first place... the design began with that. I respect those engines, and the cars (was dreamin of supra's for a long while!). But then I sat in the CE, and a supra, and a Silvia, and an Opel Calibra... you se what my choise was!
you went on, and bought a Merc, why would you swap the engine for a 2jz? cost? I doubt it... Parts available? come on! custom is custom, and if you put your brain to work, sky's the limit...
my thought is this: a car is a car, as it is. keeping it's line is more than a must for me. you want to customize, go right ahead! but don't make a Mercoyota out of it! it's just not right!
that supra is a monster! i love it!
another thought... I am a maniac when it comes to engine sounds, and any other sounds, so I streight piped my ce when time came to take care of my exhaust... 63mm pipes, a decent muffler, you know the drill...
