CLS AMG Wheels

I've got a 1991 300ce that I am interested in buying CLS AMG Wheels sizes 285/35/18s (rear) and 255/40/18s (front) for. I would like to know if they'd fit. (Bolt pattern, width, etc.)

Thanks,
Marcel

you'd need four fronts and 225/35s all around

lots of cars
You can just buy replica wheels. You can also fit 4 front chrysler crossfire wheels... Same center bore, 12mm lug holes and bolt pattern.

Thanks for the help guys! I ended up buying them and (as you all predicted) there was no way they were going to fit. Haha.. I put them on my dad's CLK550 and swapped him for his AMG wheels - 225/45/17 (F) and 245/40/17 (R) - They fit nicely. I'll post pictures.

Thanks,
Marcel

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get them for? I've been looking for an extra set lately.

I paid $1000 for the set with Pirelli PZeroes. A real bargain, the tires alone are worth more than that! The rims are gorgeous, brand new.

They do look nice, but there is a small issue I'm having with them: They rub against the body under slightly harder-than-reasonable cornering or braking. Do you have this problem?

Thanks
Marcel

My fenders are rolled and my car is lowered. No rubbing whatsoever.

What are your offsets on the AMG's?

I was thinking about doing that.

I don't know what the offset is. Is there an easy way of checking (without removing the wheel, etc.)?

Well if theyre OEM wheels, you should be able to find a replacement online and check the offsets there.
