Never mind. Found out it was only 300 in 1986.

I know there wasn't a whole lot.
IIRC, there were some manual diesels.

I asked because Sunday I am going to check one out. The owner seems to have taken excellent care and up keep of the car.

pm sent. They are a blast to drive as the M103 likes to rev, but shift throws are long and rather slow. They do not shift like a BMW, but more as a means to get you up to Autobahn speed in a controlled manner. This is the only drawback, but shifter can be modified for shorter throws.

Thanks for the info. I am not worried about a 1/10th of a second for acceleration. Just a manual MB is a great combo for me and it lets me rest my 300ce, not to mention probably return better mileage. But first and foremost I will have a 4 door so both my wife and I can have our son and his monster car seat in the back.
