Shop that can transplant 3.6 AMG motor into w124
Anybody know of any shops in the Orange County or Los Angeles area that can transplant a C36 engine into a W124 coupe or wagon. This is beyond my mechanics capabilities. I have a donor C36 car that is complete. I believe that a wagon has been done by Neil on this forum. I have tried a few times to contact him, but have gotten no replies.

There's a guy in LA who's friend has done these conversions in 190E's, I think he goes by RAM or RAM190. When I inquired, he said he can be hired. I don't believe he's a professional shop, however. I'll PM you his email.

That is good then, as the HFM is compatible and so is the wiring harness/maf etc. You should be able to swap the motor over and then swap out the ECU. I don't think most of those other items apply since since you have a 94+ model and it already has a M104 and HFM injection.
