Again ill have to dig up the pics, the fluting on each of the halogen and HID lenses were exactly the same. I didnt just eye ball them i drew them out to see if there were any major differences between them. Only change was the reflectors shield to prevent glare.

the w202 had different fluted lenses (96-2000 c class) for reflector hid, so I assume any others would too.

Greasy, you aren't getting it. Hold the lenses up against the HID bulb and you will SEE a better pattern. AGAIN, looking at them and putting pretty borders on them in photoshop won't do squat.

Fair enough, since i dont have the headlights or the car anymore i wouldnt be able to test it that way.

i'd rather just not respond to this considering you obviously know NOTHING about St. Louis County. (Bellefontaine)

and honestly, i really don't care what you've done to your c32.

Show me proof and ill keep my mouth shut, until then i stand by my statements. And when did i bring up my C32? I only responded to zedstyle's statement on a W140, which i agreed on. The W140 is a better quality built car then my W203.

So whats your point? I was correcting your false statement but at the same time i was stating that i dont care if they are illegal as my car isnt legal either.

But again show me some proof of a police cruiser with HID's and ill keep my mouth shut about it. Otherwise ill stick to my statements that i dont believe the police will be driving around with non-road legal equipment.

I agree with the greasemonkey on this one. Cops will be the last to break the law with rice. They have guns, they don't need rice to impress.

Cops don't break laws? Psssht...right! All they do is break the law because they know they won't get in trouble for it. I've had a cop offer me a beer at a barbecue once, knowing that I had to drive home. Maybe they're perfect Canada, but last time I checked St. Louis was voted the worst city due to crime and violence.

I have no proof that they use HID's. However, I KNOW what HID's look like, and I can GUARANTEE that they have them.

I don't think any of the "police package" fleet options by Ford, Chevy, Chrysler offer HID headlights.
Typical to use dual halogens as they are optionally wired to alternately flash.
HID not designed to do so.

Can HIDs even cycle fast enough to be flashers even when warmed up?

Um ok, yeah my dads GF's daughter technically broke the law when she wrote off my tint tickets without the tint removed. But come on dude now your just pulling ***** out of your *** with your ridiculous statements.

Yeah, bixenon is just a sliding cover that aims the light higher for high beam use....HARDLY doubt some ricer hack cop is putting a biXenon retrofit in Louis....
