small update on my project

decided to trade in my old 18 inch heavy foose wheels for some new rims.
still waiting for my wald kit from japan followed by a new paint job for the summer hopefully, going to get rid of the two tone and stick with one color. sorry for the bad cell phone pics.

18x9.5 ,35 front and 45 rear ET, gotta double check tire size but i think i went 225/40/18, tire is stretched so i have no fender rubbing. this is sitting on vogtlands springs and bilstein shocks. no fender's are rolled

Hey dude, welcome! I grew up in Calgary, moved to Vancouver in '06....

Nice looking ride so far but I'd be VERY hesitant to run a fibreglass bodykit with calgary's roads, winter and ice chunks. Are you getting the Zedstyle or Berti Version of the Wald? Zed's would be best for Calgary.

Zedstyle's:

Berti's:

getting the v4 kit (berti's). Mark lacey over at tunnerworks is bringing it in, i have a good feeling you know him. Trust me on this one after the bodykit is put on and a fresh paint job, this car wont be driven in winter

OH, in that case good stuff, get the V4 if it's a "summer" only car...just watch the ridiculous Construction Season that coincides in Calgary haha

Yeah I know lacey very well...the boys at Tunerworks are great...I dealt with Rob pretty much exclusively though. Known Rob for 15yrs...

quick question for you berti, since my pad light is starting to come on and i need new brakes, i was thinking of upgrading. i know you changed your calipers, did you have to change your master cylinder as well as to avoid pedal fade?

I thought you installed brembo's for some reason, may be wrong. just asking cause in the future i may be installing a turbo from a 90's porche 911 turbo that i came accross thru work. Always better to be able to stop when you add more power.

Tunerworks sells the goods but the goods cost...my Carlsson's were RIDICULOUS money for 18's...

Your car will look killer, no doubt....keeping the same color for the respray? I'd do it a touch darker IMO....

Berti was messing with us before....pretending to buy the ebay fake caliper covers lol...

As for your car...I took creative liberty, chopped berti's kit on your car, darkened the color slightly so that it's still a similar color to the door jambs and trunk and engine bay area if you respray the car. I also tinted the clear portion of your tail lights a bit, body colored the door handles and painted the rubber surround that really stood out around the front signal lights...ENJOY!!

i was thinking just keeping it the desert silver color, bit cheaper as in i dont have to respray everything. I am considering adding a bit of pearl to the paint tho, not sure as to what color... i would love to change the entire color but... $$$$. Who did you use in Calgary to paint your car Zorro? i was thinking coachworks..
