Wire Wheels?
Im goin to upgrade my 18" AMG alloys with some 19" cause you know what its like once you've had wheels for a while they all start to look small!lol
anyway i was scanning through ebay an found these what do you think??
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20-wire-wheels...3A1|240%3A1318
do you think 20s would fit on to a ce???
i dont quite know how they work if its still a bolt pattern or anything or even if they would fit but would like to know.
cheers

"I've been banned so im paying £1700 insurance but i wouldnt change my car for the world!!"
If you're going to do things like this, I'll take your licence away, myself, if that'll stop you!
I seem to remember that you had some other silly ideas, in the past...

Sorry bud... hate to join the feeding frenzy. but those rims are completely disgusting. Just looking at them gave me diarrhea.
But, if you're already incontinent and don't mind being contagious, those rims will be perfect.

I have a 79 lincoln continental with those wheels but in 15"... Yeah, I know...
Anyways, please don't put those wheels on that CE and 20" don't fit. If you want 19s go with 19x8 all around or 19x8.5 rear with fenders rolled.

In England it might be acceptable, but here in the States.........no way! Here, wire wheels,20 inch gold Daytons in particular, are more of a lowrider or American car (Cadillaic,Impala,SUV,etc) look. I prefer the Euro/modern look when it comes to wheels for my Benz.
You're from England....check out a back issue of Mercedes Enthusiast magazine, one from 2007 I believe....there's an article on lowrider MB'z in Hawaii, with hydros, scrap plates and yes, wire wheels. There were a couple of w124's with wires. Those pics should keep you from buying them

d's are hot, but yeah, not on a w124, and definitely not in 20"
i've seen some old-school gti's on them and they look sick, let me see if i can find a pic....
edit: can't find any older ones, but here's a newer one. still pretty hot i think.
