wheel suggestions for my w124

first of all, hi to everyone, this is my first post.
Ive recently bought a 94 e220 saloon, its totaly stock and im wanting to make some subtle mods, just new wheels and lower it for now.
I want to get the best look possible for as little as i can, so im wanting oem merc wheels but not sure what will be a direct fit from other models. 17" would be perfect, dont really want to go bigger than that. Will r129 wheels fit ok?
ANy suggestions please

I suggest:

17" Brabus Monoblock III
17" AMG 3-piece
18" AMG Styling I from W220
17" or 18" MAE Crown Jewel
17" or 18" BBS LeMans

Go through the picture thread, Mike. Wheels are subjective and there are too many choices for us to just sit here and list them..

yeah there nice. but i would go for 18s i find that 17s jus get hidden under the w124s huge arches. you can fit 18s on there without any trouble an there is no scuffing or scraping.

jus my thought some people like to keep it a bit more stock tho. its up to you really, like zoro said there are too many to list
