Buying a 500E off a friend for a STEAL! It needs a transmission over-haul, misfires, dunno how much more work it needs my friend doesn't know @#$% about cars, but I'll be towing it to my shop to put it on the lift tomorrow. I'm only getting it for $4500. It's Black On Tan Interior.

 

Tight! but watch out tranny alone is about $2-3K, misfires might have already done damage to engine so expect to put in a couple grand to get car running smooth

 

I'm a mechanic and can do the work myself with the Transmission. Also, I doubt it did any damage he said this misfiring $%^ started about a Month ago.

 

Update on the car - I towed it to the shop this morning. It has a slow oil leak, the radio is shot (luckily I got a new stereo in my shed ), Misfires Didn't do damage, The Transmission needs to be rebuilt like I said, but still shifts just hard. Tonight I'm going to give my friend $4500 and it's mine! It's at the shop now as we speak.

 

Where you at in Bensalem? I'd like to drive over and see it.If you don't mind.
