W124's
LOL wow - what a hideous piece of work. What's up with W124 owners thinking their "one-off" cars can be sold for so much.
I'd take that $20K and get a E55 or any 2004+ MB anyday.

It's as if I wrote your post!! Exactly everything I was going to say. But repainting, facelifting, and removing the spoiler/filling the holes left by the spoiler would be expensive to do. So even if you bought it for $12k, you'd dump another 8k in making it right!
Yuck!!

The more I look at it, the more it grows on me. Just like what others have said, I'd remove the rear spoiler and probably get a lip spoiler instead. Then I'd remove the flash gordons because they just look tacky. Lastly, I'd consider a new set of rims but there's just something about those deep-dish stars that look endearing. I agree with 16V, it harkens to another era of modding. I'd keep the SL looking front because it's not too distracting and out of place. Price is a bit steep, but it's a cool car nonetheless.

It might be more then we all think...
Pix aren't that clear
Possibly a period Lorinser widebody conversion...
Wheels appear to be three piece OZ Futura which were very expensive....
According to VIN car was originally Artic white with mushroom leather..not Green/Green.

the actual description says "World renowned Koenig body kit!"...
i agree that it's an old-school car that's probably not too in line with today's tastes, but it would still be sick to own... after the suggested changes mentioned in previous posts, of course...

I was too busy looking at the pix...
Here's two variants ( without/with SEC front ) of the Koenig widebody...
Still a rare and collectable vehicle !

BMW and Mercedes
I do actually really like the first two (like the car in the ad) but I would personally delete the slats/vents to make a cleaner look. Kinda has the same blister fenders as the e30 M3 in a way
