W124 AMG - E32???
W124 AMG - E32???
was there ever an AMG E32 (w124)?
i was driving in the San Fernando Valley today, and i saw a E32, or at least that's what it was badged. The license plate said "W124 AMG." Was this car just badged or what?

I found some information on the net... All w124 could get AMG bodykit, wheels, brakes and suspension, as well as AMG gauges, doorsills and shiftknob etc. http://www.lp-club.com/spec-amg.htm , http://mercedes-amg.tripod.com/amgcars.htm

The W124 AMG version was not E32, etc. - keep in mind that it was not fully owned by MB as it is today so its cars were much more radical. The W124 AMG was called the AMG Hammer (6.0) - by far the fastest sports sedan of its time. See the other threads for more info. I'll be posting a thread with many pics as well soon.
