Tune up... Did i miss anything?

Hey guys, ill be doing a full tune up on my 420 this upcoming week. I ordered new plugs, wires, air filters, fuel filter, and a transmission filter and pan gasket. I'm also doing an oil and filter change and draining the radiator and putting new coolant in. Just wanted to make sure i didnt miss anything. Thanks

I just put new brake lines in the rear so i know that the pads and rotors are good.

How important is it to change the wires at the same time you're changing the plugs? I just bought a kit with plugs, dist. cap and rotor and am going to give it a shot this weekend but didn't buy new wires.

How tough is it to do these changes? Are the fluids/filters readily available at most auto supply stores or are these special order items?

The reason why im doing wires is because i just bought the car a little while ago and these people had never changed the wires in it. It still has original wires and shes got 150k on her

Also thanks on the diff fluid change idea

To me fluids are the life of these cars as well as the filters.

I only use MB fluids, and no its not difficult. Call your local dealer, they are pretty reasonable when it comes to fluid changes. Almost as cheap as what you could do it.

New fluid is a great place to start. The plug wires can be done later but best to do while its on your mind/list.

Good Luck

Replace all fluids whenever I get a new used car.
