Exclamation Found an E500 W124! Mileage fraud question!

Guys i found a nice E500 W124 1994 in Dubai that was imported from Japan. I am afraid that the mileage has been rolled back. Is there any way to tell that its real or not? I know in most modern cars how i can check it but in older cars like W124s i have no idea. I'll post a pic of the mileage of the car just in case

Please any helpful information will help me avoid getting ripped off or buy a bargain. If anyone knows of a way i can check the vehicle history online while it was in Japan that would be great!

Here are some pics.......Thanks all.......

no idea, but chances are good that those are original km's... all the cars that i've seen come through from japan typically have under 60-80k km's on them, and these are toyotas, not benzes that would probably not have been driven as often...

Thanks Bro, but you see the 5 in 59334km the 5 is moved slightly up and thats not cos its gona change to 60000km. The 5 should not start moving up until the very last 100km. I am still awaiting to see if any one can get me the history of the car from Japan.

Looks nice. Could be original mileage. I bought my '92 500E a year and a half ago. It had 73,000km only, verified. Worst case I suppose, is that it has 99K, not 59K, as the zero to the left seems aligned still.

Nice find! I caution you, though. Low-milers tend to have problems from sitting. Items that would normally get changed during routine maint. or after road wear, normally, may be neglected. Rubber suspension mounts and other components tend to dry out. The rubber engine belt tensioner is prone to failure. Also, if the car has sat for long periods without oil changed, regardless of km's, it can affect the Bakelite, chain guides in the engine. Listen for noise at startup.

Good luck with this.
