Which Oil?
Just curious to know what oil you guys and gals recommend.
My E220 has in the past mainly had BP Visco, but the last two changes have been BP Super and then very recently Shell Helix. Which seems strange as I thought Mercedes dealers mainly used Mobil 1?

my personal philosophy on oils is well proven by the cars I drive and formerly drove:
Rather spend money on expensive oils, change it at half of the recommended milage.
I buy the cheapest I can get within the MB specs. and change it approx. after 4000 to 5000 mls.
It worked very well for my cars, so far, they are all high milage and still running great.
