SOHC to DOHC swap -practical?
I own an 88 300E, I am curious as to wether anyone has tried or investigated putting the dohc head on the enigine. What would be necessary to complete this? Would I need to swap computer, sensors, harnesses? Any help much appreciated.

Try this:
1) Spiff up the 88 and sell it, then find a nice early 90s car with the DOHC engine.
or
2) Find a donor car with the DOHC engine. Swap the motor along with all of the fuel injection hardware and electronics.
