500e sway bars or eibach?

I installed a set of eibach springs on my 300E and it still has too much roll. I noticed people are divided wether the bars from the 500e will provide better performance than the eibach set. Any gurus who have done this mod on your car let me know how much of a difference it made and what you used.

thanx

...........the debate might be mute because Eibach no longer makes sway bars for W124.

I've heard, the 500e or the sportline, either way you go, will really help control body roll.
When you did your Eibachs, did you keep your stock shocks or did you upgrade to a good aftermarket shocks? That can make the difference too.
Good luck to you.

Crazy, but nobody knows

Nobody knows and now I am getting crazy about the swaybars. OE limo front and E500 rear seems to be the best you can get from Benz, but there is still a question about the steel they use to make the bars. Are the materials different on the sportline bars even though they are smaller? Clearly the Eibach front is larger, but it is to be discontinued so even if you could get the last pair of bars tomorrow, it would be hard to get new bushings in the future. Sticking to Benz OE may be a good choice. You would think that they will always have parts, except you can’t find the E60 bars any more and the limo bar has to be ordered from Germany. I am having fun learning all of this stuff and the people on these forums are awesome, but it seems harder than it should be to figure out what is the best combo for our car. It seems especially strange to have everyone unsure after the W124 car was in production for 10 years and it has been out of production for 8 years.

Go Sportline and do it all; shocks, springs, pads, bars, etc. That will really liven up a stock W124 handling.

If you simply must have the 500E bars instead...im me, I can get OEM parts a bit over wholesale. They are sorta hard to find used....and not too crazy priced new.
