1986 300E
W124 Turbo Kit
I have 2 1986 300E Sedans, was looking into boosting performance with turbo charger. I have an additional engine that I plan on using to do the work on and then swap out one of the engines. I have found some things here but not too much. If anyone has any information on where I can find some kits, or any performance engine upgrades please let me know.

No clue how you managed NOT to find hundreds of posts asking the exact same question. Do you know how to use the search function properly? Try using the keyword "Turbo" in this forum, and member RBYCC will know where you can source one of the few legitimate turbonetics (spelling?) kits still avaliable if your willing to throw down some serious cash.

Just have a log turbo manifold made and buy a turbo and start from their.
The only production kits ever made are crazy money and nothing to fantastic.
Not like you are getting equal length stainless manifolds and modern ceramic ball bearing turbos and anyone making any real power with one is using a piggy back controller. You could build something a lot less than buying one of those kits.

I'm a fan of homemade turbo setups, however, there is alot of expertise and time involved to create a system that is daily driver reliable.
