a/c problem

a/c problem

a/c was not blowing fixed the blower topped up the 134 and it blew cold for 5 minutes then just cut off???????

What did you do to fix the blower? Also, what year is your car, does it use R134?

a/c problem

i changed the fuse link in a small box beside the main fuse box the 300e is a 1990 model and has been converted to 134

What are your high and low pressure ports measuring (PSI) with max A/C??

a/c problem

took the 300e for a long drive. the a/c cut in and worked until i shut. the car down .turned it on again, no a/c drove for an hour. nothing. turned car off. an hour later went for a drive a/c cut in and worked perfectly.
what is happening???? electrical????? any ideas

Is your compressor running when you have the air on? If not your system is low on 134! You need a pressure gauge on the system and that will tell you how things are doing! You need if I remember right about 25 lbs for the compressor to kick in!

if i am not mistaken, mine did that too. your clutch might be fried, or you may have too much pressure built up which is why when its hot it will not turn back on. don't use this too much untill you get it fixed becuase it may lead to killing your compressor.

a side note, when i converted mine, is when i had the problem.
