My '87 300E has a tranny that tends to flare when I am driving it fifteen minutes after I start it. I do warm it up for five minutes in the morning, regardless of driving condition (it's a carry-over from my diesel driving days). Although the tranny is fine for the rest of the ride (it shifts very very smoothly afterward), it still feels strange when it does that flare within the first fifteen minutes of starting the car.

Anyone have a similar situation? Or suggestions on getting rid of it? Although my transmission is well-lubricated, it does have a slight leak.
