Rewinded my odometer from junk yard help
Well heres the story. I bought a cluster out of the junk yard. I took it apart and re winded the odometer. My original said 71000 and the one I bought from the junk yard said 235000 so I rewinded mine to 108555 so i did nothing illegal. First my needle is reading 5 mph to fast. Im sure I can fix that. But my tripometer is not working correctly. My odometer is working fine. In 38 miles the white wheel moves to 7 on the tripometer and the other wheels stay on zero. Soits moving to slow. Any ideas
The shaft that holds the odometer wheels I removed that to rewind the wheels (found out it was really hard to rewind) .I put the shaft in and then rewinded by carefuly move the gears behind the number wheels and then spun the wheel.
