Any idea what this is?

While I was taking apart my door panels + interior carpet I swear I saw this fall out of the door...Although I may be crazy.

Its not the.."stop-your-foot-landing-in-water light?" at the bottom of the door panel because its still there.

Any ideas for anything?

It looks like the remains of a pepboys inline fuse holder.

I've been in and out of my door panels a million times. None of that stuff belongs in there.

Those are parts of a continuity tester. The tester looks like a screw driver with a pointed end and that fuse and spring are contained in the handle. That ball pen like clip is screwed to the handle. At the end of that handle there is a wire that plugs in and at the end of the wire is an alligator clip.

I'll post a picture if I can find my tester.

Hmm interesting. Maybe the previous owner was trying to figure out the window like I was and somehow broke theirs?
I know I sure don't have a continuity tester in my garage!

I'll throw it away. If it were something obvious it would have already been stated.

Thanks guys. I hate throwing away anything before making 100% sure its not something I may regret throwing away later.
