Is mine sportline swaybar?

Hello,

While I was under my car, I just checked the front swaybar visually, and the ends are narrow and the middle is thicker.
I heard that regular e series swaybar is the same size from tip to the middle.
What do you guys think?

Swaybars are different depending on model and also depends if it has sport chassis or no (653 code). For example, swaybars for a 6 cylinder are thicker than 4 cylinder and for each model the one with sport chasis is thicker than standard.
For example I upgraded my car (E 220 Coupe) to sport chasis suspension and the new swaybars and thicker:
- front: is 1 mm thicker in center area and 3 mm thicker at the ends.
- rear: is 3 mm thicker.
Of course, I also needed to change rubbers.

...I forgot. The best way to identifie swaybars is with its part code (which is usually located on left side in front swaybar and on right side on rear swaybar). Then with part code and car model check it in Mercedes shop (I cand do it if you tell). The car model is very important because the same swaybar can be for standard of sport chasis suspension depending on model.

Thank you for the picture and good info!

I guess mine is just regular one because it's thicker in the middle and narrow at the end, which is different from what you said.
I will check the code.
Thanks.

My car has the sportline badge on the fenders, but no sportline shift ***, no sportline interior. However, it looks lowered and suspension seems pretty tight. I can put 3 fingers(I have girl's hand) in the gap between tire and fender. That is way I just checked the swaybar whether it's regular one or sportline, but like I said, what do I know.
I will check the code and let you know.

Thanks.
