Worth to buy ?? I'm not in the US

Guys....new to this forum since i'm a Bimmer guy since day 1 but i'm thinking selling my A4 avant as a DD and switch to a S124 wagon. ( Of course a full restore and makeup project will come also )

Not a noob on forum so did some search this 2 days and read countless of posts. Anyway somehow a S124 300TE just went up for sell yesterday so i was thinking i can hear some opinon from some experts here.

http://www.28car.com/msg/msg_open_pi...t=680&h_site=w

I understand this is a 300E 12v and a 300E 24v that is use from 89 to 91.....how about this one ?? It said it's a 1989 car but i have no idea if it's a 24v or not.

Anyway reason i should get this instead of a 94 or 95 E320T ?? I understand the M103 has a better and stronger engine....is this the reason ??

Thanks everyone

94 Wagon and 94 Cabriolet
Many questions can be answered here

The 94 / 95 versions have a bit of a facelift and the M104 (24v) motor. I wish I had the M104 in my S124.

Scan the link above though, for the details about your car.

Looks nice. I think its a 12 valve. Are you doing all your own work? Me personally I like the older Benz. I just got a 91 4 matic 300te and cant waite to drive it.
Miles?
Leaks?
head gasket?
Tranny shift smoothe?
Burn oil?
Paint?
