Getting thru front firewall 95 E320 W124 Cab?
I can get through to the trunk fine but need to get through the front firewall to hook up the amp to the battery -- any hints on getting through the front firewall? Where do existing cables go through, or should I punch a new hole?
Thanks!
Thanks!

use a coat hanger. behind the battery remove the plastic panel. you should see some rubber grommets with wires going through. this comes thorugh right near the passenger side interior vent. you have to get under there to get to the wire. I would use a coat hanger throught he engine side, then find it under the dash area ont he passenger side.
you may have ot remove the kick panel and or the glove box. I find pulling out the glovebox is easy. there are several plastic clips, once removed you can gett he glove box itself out, and get in there to find the coat hanger you ran in.

Thanks ashman. I'll give that a try when I get the car back -- had it towed to get some brake problems fixed today.
I got the power cable through the back but it may be tougher to get the rca cables through there -- guess I may have to that the rca jacks off and just wire the cables through and then put the jacks back on -- seems like there's not enough space for the jacks to push through (esp on a cab where there's extra distance to travel).
