'87 300e transmission problem
Have an '87 300e, the transmission will downshift when I back off the throttle even a little while at cruise. Upshifting seems fine. The transmission will shift up after I apply throttle. It seems that sometimes it downshifts 1 gear, othertimes it seems to downshift 2. Fluid level is good. Suggestions?
