Freeze Plug

It apears I have a bad Freeze Plug and I am leeking coolant rapidly. I don't have a lift but I had a neighborhood shop put it up one one and it is quite hard to get too. Anybody have any idea how much a dealership would charge to replace it? 1991 300E

I haven't seen it up close but it seems to be on the driver side of the block toward the front. What would be the worst and best case senario? Big bucks or medium bucks?

Mines leaking from a freeze plug from about the same location. Being a tech, from my experiences I would say big bucks, but what do I know.My M103 has 300+k miles on it so I'm just going to install a new motor, probably a 5.0 small block Ford.

Can't you just get a socket on it and remove it assuming its not rusted in?
Obviously you'll need to drain the coolant first

Freeze plugs are pressed into the block, it's not like a threaded drain plug, therefore a lot more effort involved.
