Door window slow no go

My 300CE driver door window is slow to go down and slow the first half to go up and can only go the last half up with assisting up by pulling.

I have taken the door apart and cleaned and lubed all slide/piviot points.

The motor seams to pull th window down fine with the door apart and will go up slow. I when I put it all together the window will not go up without help.

any suggestions?

As he said, the motor is tired...time for a replacement. Before you do that though, pull the power cable (green + black wire) through the door grommet and make sure its not frayed or torn anywhere, it can cause that problem as well. I had the same issue, but it was after I put in a working motor...I was very frustrated, but found a frayed section and it made a huge difference in speed. A short not enough to blow the fuse, but enough to severe the connection enough to slow voltage.

Ok. It looks like removing the motor is a PIA. Any suggestions as to the "easy way" to remove?

Also will a motor from a sedan work in a coupe?

Thanks

Yeh the fronts are kind of a pain...but its not as bad as it looks once you get into it. The hardest part is reassembly getting all the bolts on the regulator to line up with the holes in the door...you may need to extra pair of hands to hold the window up.

I would expect the motor is the same, yes.
