Will e420 brake rotars fit an 86 300
Havent been to this site for awhiel but i am looking for some more technical answers than ppl just complaining about what they are doing.
Anyways i bought some five spoke rims and I want to upgrade the rotars because mine are pretty much wasted and I like the look of the crossed drilled ones. I have been trying to decided whether or not I should go with a brake set up from a c32 which i have heard needs some modification or should i go with these that i found on ebay.
Does anyone know if the rotars are bigger on the 420's because they are v8's or does that not matter with a 300e, will it just bolt right up

You'll need to cut the dust shield or remove it completely. Many people have removed it with no effect on driving at all although apparently the gap to the lower control arm ball joint is close (2-5mm IIRC)..just something to keep in mind. I plan to remove mine and fit E420 brakes on my 260E in the next month.

do you have to upgrade the calipers. I have been looking into brakes for a few weeks now and i am looking at some c32 brake rotors, but i have heard that you need to upgrade the caliper. Do you know if that is true

What do you mean cheap pads. Because right now my brakes are loud as all hell, but the brakes pads that I am currently running on my car are extremly old, 10 plus years because my car sat for a long time, so I am more than overdue for brakes. Anyways i was thinking about this combination of rotars and pads, it is a little pricey, since autozone said it would be about 80 bucks for a new set of pads, but i have custom wheels that you can easily see threw to the rotar so i thought it would give the car a nice look. Anyways have you seen anyone install these, are they good or bad quality?
