300E 3.0L engine to 3.2L engine swap

Hi guys I basically I wanted to double check and see if i forgot anything or if anyone has any experience please share. I have a 300E 3.0L with a blown motor but great body and i have a 300E 3.2L engine with good motor but bad body. First I am swapping the engine and transmission from the 3.2L also gonna take the wiring harness and the fuse box along with the ECU. Is there any computers or electronics i need to take for the tranny. If there is anything else that i should be taking please let me know. I was also curious to know if i need to customize the motor mounts or does the engine drop right in.

Can't say I've done this or heard of anyone doing this type of conversion other than the AMG 3.6L conversions. The 3.0L and 3.2L are completely different engine models. Apparently you have both cars and all the parts so measure carefully and check at all the differences, particularly the wiring connectors. Mercedes made running changes every several years which may not be interchangeable. The 3.2 has the 134a gas, check your AC parts or change all the o rings. Do you have smog compliance in your state? I've pulled a harness and would not want to install one. Maybe you only need the engine harness to the ECU. Label everything. Making the wiring work will be the most work, imo. In either case, you should really consider how "bad" the 3.2 ('93?) body is before the swap. It may be easier and cheaper to repair it...
