As for the gloss, yes I want something like the original. A nice think gloss would be great. Not sure how its going to turn out but thats almost half the fun.
I don't know about skills. This is the first time I tried this ... and there has been alot of #@$%^$% in the garage, several injured fingers and alot of time. We will see how it comes out.

A few other finds I needed

well I didn't need this one but I became obsessed ever since Zorro posted the set for sale.

And the drivers side sun visor to replace my broken one. That already got installed.

If anyone finds a driver's side clear turn signal for the front, I'm interested. I found the right side at a pick a part in Rialto.
Just need the left.

Thank you. I wish I could tell more of a difference between regular ambers and the euros and would have known you were looking, since I have been to damn near every self-serve dismantler in Southern California.

you ever think about doing a two tone, because the bottom dosent look too bad, maybe just paint the top a black or a dark green, it would save some cash

lol about the handle. I saw it too just when I was putting it on ... I will get it when I switch it again for the new hood star and the other grille insert.
This is my first trial attempt. I am working on the real insert now with new paint and better prep. I am hoping it comes out even better, I just didn't want to drive around with no grille while I worked on the final one.

That is the correct side I need, but it doesn't look at orange as the one above in my pictures. I think th last two numbers of the part number are 28 or 29 depending on which side its for. If its Bosch there should be a yellow tag on the back with the numbers.
The one in your picture kinda looks like the facelifted ones that were less yellow than the older ones but not as orange as the euro ones.
