Question 18X8 et 32 w/ 235-40-18

bought some wheels and tires... just found out that the tires that i ordered were not the size i wanted,.. i was wondering if 235-40-18 would fit a 300ce? i wanted the 225-40-18. the wheel guy told me that 235 would fit. Thax. in advance!

In my experience with 18x8 et 32 and 225-40-18 wheel/tire set up, I had occasional tire to fender scraping during hard cornering. Going with 235's might be more of an issue.
My car is lowered as well with Eibach & Koni
