You know, with the Grille swapped for an OEM one and the chrome thingers taken off the trunk, the car wouldn't look half bad.
The clothtop is in horrible shape however.
I think the car has some interesting and unique touches, but is executed poorly.

Engine compartment shown in the new photo is from a W140. I asked the seller to post a photo of the actual engine compartment. I bet there's an M103 under the hood. Probably a 2.6L, lol...

he very carefully took a shot of a stowed convertible top from another car too.
The DMV lists the car with 75K miles in 1995.
Did you look at his eBay history?
Sells cheap junk that's not working and he buys video gear. I'm nearly certain these pictures are faked somehow. Hmmmm...

Yeah, I spotted the ragtop photo as a fake too, but I'm more interested with what's under the hood. He makes a big deal over the V8 conversion but I'm not convinced there's anything non-stock under the hood. The convertible top, well, yeah that's just deceptive, but not a flat-out lie. I don't think you could pay me to take this car. It's way past any hope of resurrection. At least it wasn't something rare or valuable!
