Can anyone tell me where the stereo amplifier is for the stereo system? I am thinking that the head unit and/or amp are shot and am thinking about doing some replacement or upgrade work.

Hello:

Open the rear hatch and on the Right-Hand side there is a removable panel where the first aid kit should be.
Remove that panel and in the lower rear section there is a black plastic covering that hides - protects the amp.

The covering is not all that easy to remove without cracking some part of it as it is bent in place (no fasteners).
