08 Lexus GS350 AWD. 08 Lexus RX350 AWD - wife's. 94 MBZ E320 - still have it.

'94 E320 Idle Control Valve location.

Does anybody know where the ICV located on a '94 E320? While idling, every now and then the RPMs surge up to about 1500. I replaced the oxygen sensor, it did not fix the problem. I want to check the ICV, but can't find it.

Its on the intake maniold its plastic part # 000-140-04-31

I think that part is called Exhaust Resonance Flap Valve. It can't be the same thing, or can it?

Okay, those of you that have occasional idle surges issues: In my case it was an air flow meter. During the last three days I replaced oxygen sensor, it didn't fix it, then sparkplugs, then the exhaust resonance valve (see above), and finally the airflow meter. The surges were occasionally occuring until the air flow meter replacement, and for the last day and half - no problem.
