1991 300TD ASD light
my benz have 220 0000 miles and fiew days ago gets ASD light going on.Reading all of the treads on the forum it suposed to go on the Limp mode by I dont really see any diference in driving,If ASD with diesel engine is the same as ASR with gasoline.Might be reason I am an easy driver and dont ask much out of my engine.The one thing I found out.I was usually making about 600 miles with tank on an open road .Now ,I lost about 100 miles. I dont know how to pull the codes if any.I found a post with the ASR problem but with gasoline engine on 320 E and picture how to make tester over the hookup next to the battery with LED,Button switch and some banana plugs but does it will work on my car and which number to plug it.And that job require replacing EA swich. I took a look at and see the paint over the screws pointing that never has been changed.But I would be hapy if I can pull the codes first since that piece isnt cheap to play with.Help!
