W124 sunroof motor

How can I persuade the sunroof motor to come away from the cable and tubes so that I can take it out ??

The car's a 1996 300TD which I'm trying to fix as a project to distract me from my day job.

Thanks Arno for the reply!

I want to take it out because it's broken and I have a (known good) replacement. I suppose a more accurate question would be: how do you get the cable and pipes off.

Thanks R
