91 MB 300CE w/5 speed
two questions removing shifter knob and console.
Got two questions- 91 300 CE
What to replace the shifter boot (5 speed manual), how do you remove the shifter knob. But can seem to see how it comes off.
and, I tried removing the console so I can remove a bunch of RCA cables from previous owner and run some speaker wires down under. Found the screw under the carpet pad and the console will lift up, but don't see how its attached at the front. It lifts up like it should just slid back, but doesn't.
Any info please.
