It depends on what your definition of 'fit' is.

124 320ce amg widebody twin turbo, the nail
kereon, you will find two distinct types of answer to your question, one will be negitive, from peeps who like std or slightly bigger, they will tell you that bigger than 17" is wrong and will spoil the ride bla bla bla.
then comes the peeps who think that 18", 19" and 20" are the way forward. i have had experiance of three 124's with 19" on, one is my widebody, wich is a special case due to not neeind to hit, roll or cut anything to get them on.

two friends of mine have fitted 19" to std cars, it takes a bit of 'releving' ofthe inner arches, and rolling of the outer lips, but does look , imo, cool.

i have seen two or three cars on various fourums with 20" on, they also, imo, look cool.

so, those 19"s will fit, but not straight on... you pays your money, and takes your choice.

lots of cars
19x8.5 +42 fit but you will rub a little on the inner fender.

19x8.5 +35 will take some fender rolling and tire stretch to get them to fit.

Rears fit with no major issues other than negative camber and tire wear.

Yeah! I need to have some body work and fender roll first before I have the rims on!
