dear friends

i have a 1991 300E24, beautiful pearl silver sedan that is my pride and joy. Recently the car stopped mid-ride, discovered the computer (ecu) was irreparably damaged. found a new one at a great store on ebay germany, works like a charm. But my mechanic realized that the reason the ecu blew in the first place was because of a substandard repair job on the ecm (ignition module) which is also now not functioning.

hence: i am now on the hunt for the following ecm (or a compatible one if that exists)

Siemens 5WK6302
Mercedes 012 545 2132 / A 012 545 2032

Does anyone happen to have this part lying around, oh, in a basement somewhere?? Or know someone who might?

Sorry if I sound a bit suspicious, but you mention the "great German Ebay store", twice.

It sounds like you may be more interested in plugging a supplier than finding a part.

Where are you located, US, Canada, west coast, east coast???

I may have pulled an ECU for a m104 24v, but not sure on the part number. If you turn out to not be a sock I'll go look for it.

Search for it not as an ECU or ECM but an ignition control module.
