I haven't been back on since asking joef whether the control unit was still available. After posting, I contacted him privately and we did the deal, and he then went over and above, going out of his way to run the part to THE FedEx location that could handle the shipment so as to get it to me the next day, to get my daughter on her way back to college just in time to start the new semester. Seriously, one day later and I would have been in a tight spot, though I didn't know that at the time, and Joef had no obligation to make the last-minute run to beat the cutoff. Thanks Joef!

Seriously, was wondering what Cabrio parts you might have left?
Not for me. I have the parts I need to fix my 500E, but when I was dropping it off at my friend's shop, he was asking me what other W124 stuff I had lying around.
Seems he's rebuilding a cabriolet that was a write-off. Bodywork is now beautiful, once again, but he needs a few missing electrical modules and stuff that got parted out from the wreck while it was on the yard.
I had some stuff, but he still needs Cabrio console wood and switches, also
Cabrio control unit and some interior trim pieces.
I know it's a long shot, but please PM me with what you have and prices.
