Emblem Theft Paint Scratches

A fine young vandal relieved me of my trunk emblem the other day, and left scratches in the paint where his removal tool did its work. I replaced the emblem, but did not glue it on to save the next vandal the effort necessary to scratch the paint again. The scrathes are not through to the metal, but are fairly visible between the spokes on the star. Any easy touch up tricks?
Thanks.

Thanks, Ken. I'll need to add some touch up paint prior to buffing, since the first layer of paint is gone.

What's with wow and drool btw? I live in your basic ordinary neighbourhood, and I thought you had an 87 too?

Any tips on touch up techniques. All welcomed.

paint

Hi. I'm in Burlington and need somebody to paint the hood of my 95 E320, Black. Do you know anybody in the club in TO who can paint? Not the whole car just the hood. I called Meray in Oakville and you can image what they want...and I'll do all the pre....!
Thanks

Hi Brian. I'm not in the club--didn't know about it, to be honest. I know a fairly good body man in Oakville. Ali's Autobody. He's just below the South Service Road off Chartwell (east of Trafalgar). You'd want to ask to see some of his work first, of course, and to get his assurance that the colour match between the hood and the rest of the car would be absolute. I can imagine Meray was off the scale. I needed a new Pirelli P6000. Their quote was about $240, and I got it in Mississauga for $140 installed. But they only dinged me $10 for the emblem. Great people, but hilarious pricing.
Best,
Brian
